deHavilland DH 88 Comet 'Grosvenor House'

The deHavilland DH 88 Comet 'Grosvenor House' is a world famous racing aircraft of the 1930's, winning an air race from London, England to Syndney, Australia. This sound is of the start up of its two de Havilland engines at the aerodrome is based at. Currently it does not fly but is taxiid at high speed along a grass airstrip. I remember seeing his plane fly as a child; hopefully sometime soon I will see it fly again. Recorded using a Fostex FR2-LE and Rode NT4.
